Job Description

You will lead the end-to-end pretender procurement process, which includes preparing tender documentation, prequalification, vendor lists, tender analyses, and reports. You will be responsible for issuing RFIs/RFPs, managing prequalification stages, and evaluating supplier proposals. Your role will involve overseeing supplier negotiations, finalizing vendors, and ensuring strategic alignment. You will develop, negotiate, and administer contracts from precontract to final account, managing contract compliance, amendments, risk mitigation, and the full contract lifecycle. Monitoring performance, managing variations, approving final accounts, and overseeing change control will also be part of your responsibilities. You will prepare and update project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera, aligning procurement with project timelines and monitoring it during the supervision phase. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and vendors, to ensure seamless integration of procurement, planning, and project execution will be essential. Generating cost and procurement status reports and presenting insights to stakeholders are also key aspects of the role. You will perform cost-risk analysis, contribute to value engineering, and support postcontract safeguards while maintaining best practices, gathering feedback, and enhancing procurement and contract processes. For qualifications, you should have 8-15 years of experience in procurement, contracts, planning, or project management in construction sectors. A Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Civil, Mechanical, or a relevant field is required, and an MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus. In terms of technical skills, you should have strong expertise in pretender procurement and vendor finalization, proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration, as well as advanced planning and scheduling capabilities using tools like MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent. Your industry knowledge should include a deep understanding of procurement and contract life cycles, along with familiarity with construction project needs and stakeholder engagement.,
