- Coordinate with design teams to ensure constructability and value engineering

Resource Planning & Coordination
- Plan and allocate labor, equipment, and material resources
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules and interdependencies
- Manage procurement schedules to ensure timely material delivery
- Plan temporary facilities, site logistics, and staging areas
- Develop contingency plans for weather, delays, and other risks
Schedule Management & Control
- Create and maintain master construction schedules using software like Primavera P6, MS Project
- Monitor progress against planned schedules and identify variances
- Implement schedule recovery plans when delays occur
- Coordinate look-ahead schedules (3-week, 6-week rolling schedules)
- Manage change orders and their impact on project timelines
Quality & Safety Planning
- Develop quality control and quality assurance plans
- Create safety management plans and coordinate with safety teams
- Plan inspection schedules and coordinate with third-party inspectors
- Ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications
- Plan testing schedules for materials and systems
Cost & Budget Planning
- Develop construction budgets and cost forecasts
- Monitor actual costs against planned budgets
- Plan cash flow projections and payment schedules
- Coordinate with estimating teams for change order pricing
- Track productivity metrics and unit costs
Communication & Reporting
- Facilitate weekly construction meetings and planning sessions
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking
- Communicate schedule impacts to stakeholders and clients
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams
- Interface with architects, engineers, and consultants
Technology & Documentation
- Utilize construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build)
- Maintain as-built documentation and record drawings
- Implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) for 4D scheduling
- Manage document control and submittal schedules
- Track RFIs, change orders, and approval processes
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Strong understanding of construction methods and sequencing
- Experience with lean construction principles and pull planning
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
