Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling:
Develop detailed construction schedules, milestones, and resource plans using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) to ensure timely completion.
Design Coordination:
Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; coordinate with design consultants and internal teams for design integration and technical clarity.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
Prepare and monitor project budgets, track costs against estimates, and recommend cost optimization measures without compromising quality or timelines.
Resource Planning:
Determine manpower, materials, and equipment requirements for all phases of construction; coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely delivery.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all building plans and construction activities comply with statutory codes, local authority regulations, and safety standards.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
Establish KPIs and track project progress; prepare periodic MIS reports and presentations for management review.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
Identify potential project risks, bottlenecks, and delays; implement corrective and preventive measures proactively.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project goals.
Quality & Safety Oversight:
Monitor quality of work and adherence to specifications; ensure implementation of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards at all project sites.
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
Lead the planning team, assign responsibilities, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and planners to enhance productivity and efficiency.
