Job Description

Role Overview:

Project Planner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using relevant planning tools.
  • Coordinate project activities between site teams, vendors, consultants, and clients.
  • Prepare project timelines, track progress, and highlight risks or delays proactively.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to project schedules and deliverables.
  • Assist in resource planning and ensure timely availability of materials, manpower, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Generate project status reports, dashboards, and documentation for management review.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions to avoid delays.
  • Support in procurement coordination and vendor management.
  • Ensure clear communication and documentation across all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate smooth handover and project closure activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project planning, operations handling, and coordination roles, preferably in interior fit-out, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar), and reporting practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience in handling operations and coordinating between multiple project teams.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and dynamic project conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor coordination is an advantage.
