Planning Head

As a Planning Head at LNT, your role will involve overseeing the planning of large-scale construction projects in the Heavy Civil Infrastructure sector in Kolkata. With a minimum qualification of being a Graduate in Civil Engineering and 15-20 years of experience, you are expected to demonstrate expertise in various areas. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your knowledge of planning and contracts, analytical thinking, and familiarity with tools such as JCR, Costing & Budgeting, Primavera P6, and MSP. You will be required to excel in Construction Scheduling, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Progress Monitoring, and overall construction processes. One of your key tasks will be to determine the necessary resources for projects while adhering to budget constraints, effectively plan construction operations, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure all deadlines are met. Collaboration with the Site, Contracts, Procurement, and Estimation teams will be crucial to ensure timely availability of contractors and materials through effective Request for Information (RFI) management. Additionally, you will be responsible for releasing monthly plans, preparing progress reports for senior management, identifying any delays, and providing corrective actions to ensure project milestones are achieved successfully. Overall, your role as a Planning Head will require strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and effective coordination with various teams to drive successful project outcomes in the construction industry.,
