Planning Engineer || PMCBU

Overall responsible for overseeing and managing the project control activities at the project site, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, project margins and risk management. Ensures that the project objectives are met within the agreed scope, time, cost, safety and quality standards.

Role & responsibilities

1.Enhancing Project Financial Performance & Project delivery by ensuring the project is executed within budget.

2.Review project schedule, budget, cash flow, and forecast Master Construction program

3.Monitor and track the Schedule Performance Index of the project performance, and variances against the baseline and report any issues or deviations to the project manager

4.Review risk assessment for the project identifying the high-risk activities along with suggesting mitigation measures for the same.

5.Allocate, reconcile, monitor & control the availability and utilization of employees, Frontline worker, machinery, material and financial resources

6.Coordinates with the project manager, project team, client, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

7.Co-ordinate with other departments on relevant issues relating to the project

8.Reporting bottlenecks/critical areas and material hold up of the project to the management

9.Preparing Critical activity report with remedial measures

10.Analyze and evaluate the project risks and opportunities and propose mitigation and contingency actions.

11.Prepare and present the project control reports and dashboards to the project manager, the client, and other stakeholders on a regular basis.

12.Ensure compliance with the company policies, standards, and best practices in project control.

13.Identify and implement improvements and innovations in project control processes and systems.

Preferred candidate profile

1.B.E. in Civil + NICMAR, 12+ Years of Experience Heavy Civil Infrastructure Projects, Building, Industrial or factory projects

2.Cross-functional: Basic knowledge of construction and project finance

3.Skills: Planning & Organizing skills; detail-oriented communication skills, Primavera P6
