Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct timeline meetings at the beginning of each project.
Understand project specifications, prepare and execute time schedules for each project.
Calculate the materials, manpower and machinery needed to execute these activities in the time frame decided.
Ensure that all the materials and labour are available for the timely completion of project.
Responsible to conduct review meetings with relevant stakeholders, attend consultant review meeting every week and make meeting minutes for the same.
Collect periodic updates and prepare project summary sheet on a daily basis which is the master sheet for every project.
Monitor and track project progress, and prepare project updates and reports for the Management.
Maintain appropriate lists of manager, site supervisor and store keeper for each project. Responsible to collect LOI, GST certificates for new projects from every regional coordinator.
Collect project completion certificate from site supervisor after the completion of each project.
Coordinate with various departments like Execution, procurement, contracts for the successful completion of project within the time period.

Preferred candidate profile

The preferred candidate profile for a Planning Engineer in commercial building construction includes a civil engineering background, 5+ years of project planning experience, and a strong command of scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project.
