Planning and Operations Internship

The Second Circle Project Foundation, a rights-based, community-led organization dedicated to reimagining HIV care in India, is seeking a Planning and Operations Intern to assist in strategic and administrative functions crucial for organizational growth. As a Planning and Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to support various key responsibilities. This includes assisting in drafting program proposals, concept notes, and strategic plans. You will also conduct background research for new projects and funding opportunities. Furthermore, you will play a role in developing internal systems, processes, and documentation, as well as organizing board meetings, maintaining minutes, and tracking compliance tasks. Coordinating communication across team members, partners, and external vendors will be an essential part of your role, along with contributing to planning frameworks and implementation timelines for upcoming programs. The ideal candidate for this role would have a background in public policy, social sciences, management, development studies, or related fields. Strong organizational and written communication skills are essential. Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is required, and familiarity with platforms such as Trello, Notion, or similar tools is considered a bonus. A comfort level in collaborative and evolving environments, along with a commitment to social justice, community care, and inclusive approaches to public health, is highly valued. Additionally, the candidate should uphold values of confidentiality, ethics, and dignity when working with marginalized communities. In return, the Second Circle Project Foundation offers exposure to rights-based program development and grassroots NGO operations. You will receive mentorship from the founding team and gain insights into nonprofit leadership.
