Key Responsibilities -

• Load Planning & Vehicle Fit

  • Evaluate material characteristics (size, weight, handling needs) to ensure proper vehicle assignment.

  • Determine and select the appropriate transport vehicle (e.g., truck type, container) for optimal fit and safety.

• Route Design & Geographic Coordination

  • Develop optimal routes leveraging geographic knowledge to minimize distance, cost, and delivery time.

  • Account for road types, terrain, traffic patterns, and regulatory restrictions.

• Scheduling & Dispatch Coordination

  • Plan and schedule loading and dispatch timelines to meet delivery windows and operational targets.

  • Liaise with warehouse staff, drivers, and clients to align on loading times and expectations.

• Operational Awareness & Process Alignment

  • Monitor warehouse and loading operations closely, ensuring capacity constraints and timing align with schedules.

  • Integrate with overall logistics workflows, maintaining communication across departments (warehouse, operations, dispatch).

• Carrier & Vendor Communication

  • Coordinate with carriers and drivers, providing clear instructions regarding route, load specifics, and delivery requirements.

  • Act promptly to address any disruptions or deviations during transit.
