Placement Manager with Underwriting expertise

Optima Insurance Brokers is seeking a skilled insurance professional to join our team as Manager Placement, specializing in Commercial lines of business, which include Property, Engineering, Marine, Liability, Mega Risk, Motor, and Miscellaneous. As the Manager Placement, your key responsibilities will include developing and nurturing strong relationships with insurers and clients, negotiating terms and premiums, placing risks with insurers, managing and analyzing risk exposure, collaborating with underwriting teams, and driving business growth. To be successful in this role, you must have 8-10 years of experience in insurance brokerage or insurance company, with prior experience in placement and underwriting departments (insurer/broker) being essential. You should possess excellent knowledge of various insurance lines, strong networking and negotiation skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving expertise.
