Role & responsibilities Corporate Relationship Management Develop and nurture relationships with corporate partners, including multinational corporations, start-ups, and industry associations. Organise these partnerships into the HSB Business Advisory Council, and organize formal advisory meetings with corporate representatives and appropriate stakeholders several times each year. Act as the primary point of contact for corporate representatives, addressing their inquiries and facilitating communication between the college and the corporate sector. Regularly engage with industry professionals to understand their talent requirements and align college offerings accordingly. Placement Assistance Coordinate placement activities for MBA students, including organizing recruitment drives, career fairs, and networking events. Collaborate with faculty and career services to provide students with resources and guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and career planning. Provide direct support to students, including information and guidance about requirements of specific job; job market trends; proper work habits; and techniques for competing for jobs, including, preparing resumes, and interviewing strategies. Maintain a database of job opportunities and internship openings, ensuring timely dissemination of relevant information to students. Internship Management and assistance Liaise with corporate partners to identify internship opportunities suitable for MBA students across various specializations. Assist students in securing internships by facilitating the application process, coordinating interviews, and providing necessary support. Monitor the progress of students during their internships and gather feedback from both students and employers for continuous improvement. Alumni Engagement: Foster relationships with alumni working in diverse industries, leveraging their experiences and networks to benefit current students. Organize alumni networking events, panel discussions, and mentoring programs to facilitate knowledge sharing and professional development. Industry Research and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging career opportunities relevant to MBA and other HSB program graduates. • Conduct periodic research to assess the demand for specific skill sets and tailor college initiatives accordingly. Administrative Support: Create, maintain, and update database of corporates and keep absolute confidentiality of the records. Schedule appointments, ensure all career management related events are accurately scheduled. Maintain accurate records of student placements, and alumni interactions using appropriate CRM tools or databases. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing placement statistics, industry partnerships, and career development initiatives for internal and external stakeholders. Proper handling and filing of documents and records in soft and hard form. Teamwork Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
