PKI Operation Specialist

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand and assess the client's current PKI infrastructure.
• Transition the client PKI environment from one vendor to TCS.
• Map current PKI requirements to existing solutions.
• Manage and monitor PKI/HSM end-to-end operations, including health checks, backups, configurations, and policies.
• Develop and modify Certificate Authority (CA) templates.
• Implement and maintain processes for managing the lifecycle of internal and external certificates.
• Monitor certificates for expiration, perform timely renewals, and manage revocation of compromised or obsolete certificates.
• Manage and publish Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs).
• Conduct regular backups of PKI/HSM operations.
• Provide and update documentation on operational procedures and methodologies.
• Manage and respond to tickets/requests on a priority basis, ensuring all client SLAs are met.
• Perform gap analysis and identify remediation steps for issues.
• Lead the PKI team and ensure timely completion of all milestones.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in PKI concepts and Certificate Authority (CA) management
• Strong understanding of certificate lifecycle processes, including issuance, renewal, revocation, and CRL management
• Hands-on experience with Certificate Authority configuration and PKI/HSM operations
• Familiarity with Microsoft PKI, TPM, and HSM implementations
• Knowledge of security best practices, OWASP standards, vulnerability assessments, Secure Boot, and ARM TrustZone
• Ability to perform gap analysis, implement remediation, and manage operational SLAs
• Strong leadership, documentation, and coordination skills to manage the PKI team and operations
