Job Title: Piping Stress Engineer Location Gandhinagar Gujarat Experience Range 05 - 15 years of experience Educational Qualification BE / BTech In Mechanical Engineering Experience - Proven experience in piping stress analysis, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Job Summary: As a Senior / Lead Piping Stress Engineer, you will be assigned to a project task force team working primarily in Piping Stress activities in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals. Proficiency in CAESAR/ AUTOPIPE software. Must be conversant with stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment. Conversant with requirements like trunnion calculation, flange leakage calculations, qualification of allowable nozzle loads etc. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed stress analysis of piping systems using industry-standard software tools. Work closely with piping design engineers to resolve design and field engineering difficulties. Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and specifications. Identify potential issues and develop strategies to mitigate stress-related problems. Prepare detailed reports documenting stress analysis results and recommendations. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to ensure project completion according to schedule and budget. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Estimate time and material costs on project work and prepare documentation for project bids. Skills : Proficiency in stress analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II, AutoPIPE). Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and documentation skills.
