Description

We are seeking an experienced Piping Chargehand to oversee and coordinate piping installation and maintenance activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping systems and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations while leading a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate piping installation and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during piping operations.
Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Lead a team of piping technicians and provide guidance and support.
Conduct inspections and ensure quality control of piping systems.
Assist in the planning and execution of piping projects.
Monitor project progress and report any issues to management.
Train and mentor junior staff in piping procedures and practices.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in piping construction and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of piping materials, fabrication, and installation techniques.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to piping.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve piping issues in a timely manner.
Proficient in using piping design software and tools.
