Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pipe Fabricator located in L&T Kattupalli Ship yard. The Pipe Fabricator will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and erecting of piping systems on ships. The tasks include interpreting blueprints and drawings, performing cutting, threading, bending, and welding pipes, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The role also involves collaborating with other team members to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Skills in fabricating, installing, and erecting piping systems (Cu-Ni and SS pipes)
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and drawings
• Experience with cutting, threading, bending, and welding pipes
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to maintain proper documentation of work performed
• Experience in the ship repair industry is a plus
• Technical training or certification in Pipe Fabrication is preferred
