Job Description

Job Overview Warehouse Picker plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of a warehouse. Their primary responsibility is to pick, pack, and prepare products for shipping or storage. This role ensures that orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities Order Picking: Accurately picking products according to order specifications and preparing them for shipment. Packaging: Packing items into boxes or containers in an efficient manner to ensure safe delivery. Inventory Management: Keeping track of inventory levels and reporting discrepancies or low stock levels. Quality Control: Ensuring that the picked items are correct and undamaged before shipping. Equipment Operation: Using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move products within the warehouse. Workplace Safety: Adhering to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. QualificationsExperience: Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required. Physical Stamina: Capability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to prevent errors in orders. Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
