Role Overview

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients — a global leader in the artificial intelligence industry — for an experienced Physics Expert. This role is designed for professionals who excel in physics problem development, contributing to advanced AI models. The Physics Expert will support a high-impact AI project by creating, solving, and reviewing real-world physics problems to improve next-generation models.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, solve, and review challenging physics problems.
• Apply deep subject expertise to enhance AI models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with domain specialists.

Ideal Qualifications

• Degree in Physics or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred; equivalent experience accepted).
• Experience with Python or MATLAB.
• Background in Condensed Matter, Optics, Quantum Information/Computing, Computational Physics, Astrophysics, Particle Physics, or similar.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Native-level English proficiency.

What We Offer

• Hourly rate: $65–$75/hour.
• 15–20 hours/week with potential for more, fully remote and asynchronous.
• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
• Flexible independent contractor role; paid onboarding (up to 1 hour).
• Short domain interview included; starts late December, rolling review.
