PHP WordPress Developer

As a WordPress Backend Developer at Webential, you will play a crucial role in developing custom themes and implementing solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on requirements and design specifications. - Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance features, performance, and user experience. - Collaborate with the design team to create responsive and visually appealing website designs aligned with client branding. - Optimize website performance, security, and scalability through code optimization and caching strategies. - Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites, plugins, and integrations. - Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to improve development processes. You should have: - Extensive experience in WordPress implementation. - Proficient programming skills and theme customization experience. - Familiarity with WooCommerce and WordPress theme development. - Strong debugging skills and knowledge of multiple CMS platforms and MVC frameworks. - Experience with MySQL database, ACF, Elementor (optional), Gutenberg, Custom Posts Creation, and Plugin Customization & Development. - Understanding of Restful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) is a plus.
