Your primary responsibility will involve developing custom themes and implementing them in websites for our clients. Working closely with project managers and other developers, you will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality websites. Your key responsibilities will include developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on requirements and design specifications. You will also customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to incorporate new features, enhance performance, and improve user experience. Collaborating with the design team, you will implement responsive and visually appealing website designs that align with client branding and objectives. Furthermore, you will optimize website performance, security, and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and other best practices. Troubleshooting and debugging issues with existing WordPress websites, plugins, and integrations as required will also be part of your role. Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies is essential to continuously enhance our development processes and capabilities. Key requirements for this role include extensive experience in WordPress implementation, excellent programming skills, proficiency in theme customization, experience with WooCommerce, expertise in WordPress theme development, good debugging skills, familiarity with multiple CMS platforms and/or MVC frameworks, proficiency in using MySQL database ACF, Elementor (optional), Gutenberg, Custom Posts Creation, Plugin Customization & Development, and knowledge of interacting with Restful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) - object-oriented programming experience is a plus.
