Here is a breakdown of your role: **Role Overview:** You will join our dynamic team as a WordPress Backend Developer, collaborating closely with project managers and developers to create custom themes and plugins for client websites. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on requirements and design specifications. - Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance features, performance, and user experience. - Collaborate with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing website designs aligned with client branding. - Optimize website performance, security, and scalability through code optimization and caching strategies. - Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites, plugins, and integrations. - Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies for continuous improvement of development processes. **Qualifications Required:** - Extensive experience in WordPress implementation and theme customization. - Strong programming skills with knowledge of WordPress theme development and WooCommerce. - Good debugging skills and experience with multiple CMS platforms and MVC frameworks. - Proficiency in MySQL database, ACF, Elementor (optional), Gutenberg, Custom Posts Creation, Plugin Customization & Development. - Familiarity with Restful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) is a plus, along with object-oriented programming knowledge.
