PHP & Wordpress Developer

Mayakrit.com is growing, and we're looking for a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer to join our on-site team. If you have a solid foundation in WordPress development and a proven track record of building and maintaining high-quality websites, we encourage you to apply!

In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of WordPress website development, from conceptualization and design implementation to back-end functionality and ongoing maintenance. You'll work closely with our design and marketing teams to bring digital visions to life and ensure our online presence is robust, secure, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements and design specifications.
• Implement responsive and mobile-first designs to ensure optimal user experience across all devices.
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and plugins to extend website functionality.
• Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular website maintenance, including updates, backups, and security checks.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and other team members to deliver cohesive web solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest WordPress updates, trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of proven professional experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar web development role.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress CMS, including its core functionalities, themes, and plugins.
• Solid understanding and experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in PHP for back-end development and WordPress customization.
• Experience with MySQL and database management.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to translate design mockups (e.g., from Adobe XD or Figma) into pixel-perfect WordPress implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
