PHP Developer (CodeIgniter & Laravel)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP Developer with strong proficiency in CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing scalable web applications, integrating RESTful APIs, and working in a collaborative team environment. You will be responsible for back-end development tasks and sometimes front-end implementation, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and Laravel.

Create RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.

Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design functional, cohesive code.

Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

Write clean, well-designed, and testable code following best practices.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Ensure security and data protection measures are implemented.

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience in PHP and Object-Oriented Programming.

Proficiency in CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks.

Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.

Solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Knowledge of Composer and third-party package integration.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.) is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred, not mandatory with equivalent experience).
