PHP Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented PHP Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining dynamic web applications, writing clean and efficient code, and ensuring smooth integration with databases and APIs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about web development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following best practices.
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
• Manage and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay updated with the latest PHP frameworks, tools, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PHP (Core PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony).
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Understanding of version control tools (Git/GitHub).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
