The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CodeIgniter 3 , and should be ready to take ownership of features and modules from Day 1 . Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP CodeIgniter 3 Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to deliver robust solutions Troubleshoot and debug existing systems, implementing fixes and enhancements Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services Follow best practices in development, code versioning, and deployment Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code Participate in technical discussions and ensure timely delivery of assigned modules Are you the right fit for this role? Technical Proficiency – Do you have experience with the following? 3+ years of hands-on development using PHP & CodeIgniter 3 ? Security Concepts – Can you answer these confidently? What is CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) , and how does CodeIgniter implement CSRF protection? How do you prevent SQL Injection and XSS (Cross-Site Scripting) attacks in PHP/CI? What is the difference between Authentication and Authorization ? How do you implement secure login systems in CodeIgniter? CodeIgniter Framework – Do you know the internals? How do you load multiple helper functions in a single line in CodeIgniter? What are Hooks in CodeIgniter, and how would you use one to log user activity before a controller loads? Can you explain the MVC architecture and how CodeIgniter separates concerns? OOPs Concepts – Can you apply these practically? What are classes , objects , constructors , and inheritance in PHP? Can you explain encapsulation and polymorphism with an example? How do you extend a base class in PHP for reusable code? Array & SQL Knowledge – Can you tackle these in code? How would you use array_merge() , array_diff() , and array_map() in a real project? Write a JOIN query to fetch customer orders from two tables using INNER JOIN. What's the use of GROUP BY and HAVING in SQL? Real Programming Task – Can you solve this? Write a PHP program to count the number of occurrences of each character in a string. What You’ll Be Doing: Build scalable web apps in PHP CodeIgniter 3 Write reusable, optimized, and clean code Debug, test, and deploy backend services and APIs Collaborate with designers, QA, and other developers Participate in daily standups and code reviews Interview Process: 1 Coding Round Only Fast Decision & Offer Direct Joining from Monday Building and consuming RESTful APIs in CodeIgniter? Working knowledge of MySQL with optimized SQL queries , joins, and indexing? Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery , and AJAX? Experience using Git for version control?
