Photography Faculty

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Photography Faculty to teach school students the fundamentals of photography. The role will focus on building students’ interest in visual arts, helping them understand camera handling, lighting, and composition, while encouraging creativity and storytelling through pictures.

Key Responsibilities

* Introduce students to both traditional photography concepts and modern digital photography.

* Guide students in creative projects, school magazines, annual day photography, exhibitions, and competitions.

* Conduct hands-on practical sessions and encourage students to build small portfolios.

* Teach basic photo editing and digital tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Lightroom – at beginner level).

* Foster creativity, observation skills, and appreciation for visual storytelling.

* Organize workshops, photo walks, and inter-school competitions.

* Maintain photography equipment (cameras, lights, etc.) and ensure students use them responsibly.

* Support school events by mentoring students to capture photographs.

Qualifications & Skills Required

* Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.

* Strong portfolio showcasing different photography styles (portrait, nature, events, etc.).

* Prior teaching/training experience with school students preferred.

* Proficiency in camera handling (DSLR/Mirrorless) and basic editing tools.

* Excellent communication and ability to simplify concepts for young learners.

* Patient, approachable, and passionate about nurturing creativity in children.
