Company Description

The School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, was established in 1941 as a Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic, later integrated with the School of Town and Country Planning. In 1979, it was conferred the status of "Deemed to be a University" by the Government of India. The School offers academic and extension programs, promotes research and consultancy activities, and is recognised as a Center for Excellence in Urban Planning by the Government of India.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PhD Scholar at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. The PhD Scholar will be responsible for conducting research, literature reviews, data analysis, and documentation. Additionally, the PhD Scholar will collaborate with faculty members, assist in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contribute to publication and conference presentations.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Research experience in any of these areas of expertise: a) Large Language Models (LLM), b) Natural Language Processing, c) Location intelligence, d) Google Data Science Agent, e) Machine Learning, f) GeoAI, g) Image Processing, h) Explainable AI, i) Nureal Networks/Deep Learning or related fields
• Proficiency in software Python, C, C++, KNIME, Anaconda, Keras, Geo-pandas, MatLab, etc.
• Prior experience in research projects or publications
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, Geo-informatics, Data Analytics, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field

Stipend

Rs. 45,000 /- per month.
