Job Description

Role Overview: As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will support the pharmacist in dispensing medications, reading prescriptions, managing medicine inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately. - Maintain inventory by checking stock levels, receiving deliveries, and restocking shelves. - Label and package medications as per instructions. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy. - Help customers by answering basic questions and referring them to the pharmacist when necessary. - Handle billing, cash, and record-keeping. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or similar role is preferred. - Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and practices. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
