The Pharmacy Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the pharmacist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Accuracy and efficiency are essential in this role to maintain the high standards of the pharmacy. You will be responsible for accurately dispensing both prescription and over-the-counter medications. This includes checking stock levels, receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, labeling, and packaging medications according to instructions. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy is also part of your duties. Additionally, you will assist customers by answering basic inquiries and directing them to the pharmacist when needed. Handling billing, cash transactions, and maintaining records will be part of your daily tasks. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The work location is in person.
