Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Medication dispensing: Assist the pharmacist by accurately counting, measuring, and packaging medications, as well as preparing prescription labels.
Inventory management: Monitor stock levels, receive and unpack new inventory, check for expired products, and organize medications on shelves.
Customer service: Greet customers, answer basic questions about over-the-counter products, and direct any questions about prescriptions or health matters to the pharmacist.
Administrative tasks: Process prescription orders, handle cash and credit card transactions, file insurance claims, and maintain patient records.
Pharmacy operations: Answer phone calls, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and ensure all pharmacy equipment is functioning correctly.
Compliance: Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow safety protocols for handling and storing medications.
