Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals, and providing essential drug-related information to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients.
• Provide clear instructions on dosage, side effects, and interactions.
• Ensure proper storage, inventory, and stock maintenance of medicines.
• Maintain up-to-date records of prescriptions, stocks, and billing.
• Counsel patients on over-the-counter (OTC) medications when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements of pharmacy practice.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the pharmacy area.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid license to practice from the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council.
• Proven experience in retail or hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with pharmacy billing software is an advantage.

Work Schedule:

Week off, Flexible schedule.
