Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid and current pharmacist license in the applicable jurisdiction.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations.
Proficient in pharmacy software systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

RESPOSIBILITIES:

Review and interpret physician prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
Dispense prescribed medications and counsel patients on the proper use of their prescriptions.
Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of medications.
Manage inventory and ensure medications are stored properly and within expiration dates.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
Educate patients and the public on health topics and medication adherence.
Monitor patient outcomes and report adverse reactions to medications.
Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and interns.
