Position: Pharmacist
Location: JB Nagar, Andheri East, Mumbai
Store Name: New Joshi Medico and Supermarket
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and OTC (over-the-counter) medicines accurately.
• Counsel patients/customers on dosage, side effects, and safe use of medicines.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and possible drug interactions.
• Maintain medicine stock, check expiry dates, and ensure proper storage.
• Guide customers regarding generic substitutes, supplements, and wellness products.
• Maintain records as per pharmacy regulations and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, suppliers, and distributors for medicine procurement.
• Support billing, sales, and inventory management as required.
• Ensure pharmacy operates as per Drug & Cosmetic Act and local rules.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.Pharm / M.Pharm with valid Pharmacist License.
• Good knowledge of medicines and their therapeutic uses.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and ethical professional behavior.

Work Schedule

• Duty Hours: 11 hours per day (Shift-based as applicable)
• Weekly Off: [Specify Day]

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 (depending on experience & skills)
• Performance incentives (if applicable)
