The role involves providing high-quality perioperative nursing care, assisting surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the OT before surgery, ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterilized and ready. Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile field. Monitor patients pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively. Administer medications and IV fluids as directed by the surgeon or anesthetist. Handle surgical specimens safely and maintain accurate documentation. Adhere to infection control and hospital protocols at all times. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of OT equipment. Provide emotional support to patients and families before and after surgery. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
