Job Description

  • Accurately prepare and dispense Ayurvedic herbal medicines, powders, tablets, oils, and syrups.
  • Ensure the correct dosage, formulation, and quality of Ayurvedic products as per patient prescriptions.
  • Mix herbal remedies and formulations based on traditional Ayurvedic guidelines.
  • Conduct consultations to assess the patient's dosha (body constitution) and health conditions.
  • Provide personalized Ayurvedic recommendations based on health assessments, including herbal remedies, dietary advice, and lifestyle changes.
  • Educate patients on the use of Ayurvedic medicines and practices, including dietary modifications and stress management techniques.
  • Source and ensure the quality of raw materials, herbs, and other ingredients used in Ayurvedic products.
  • Perform checks on the authenticity and potency of herbs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure the herbs are sustainably sourced and ethically harvested.
  • Oversee the manufacturing of Ayurvedic formulations, ensuring adherence to traditional practices and modern quality standards.
  • Continuously research and stay up-to-date on emerging trends and scientific validation of Ayurvedic practices.
  • Develop new Ayurvedic formulations or modify existing ones to suit modern-day health challenges.
  • Ensure that Ayurvedic remedies do not interact negatively with conventional medications.
  • Advise patients on potential side effects or contraindications of herbal treatments.
  • Monitor and follow up with patients to assess the effectiveness of prescribed treatments and modify them as needed.
  • Ensure that the Ayurvedic pharmacy follows all local, regional, and national regulations regarding the sale and distribution of herbal medicines.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions, treatments, and product inventory.
  • Follow ethical standards related to patient confidentiality and safe medication practices.
  • Provide training for other pharmacy staff, patients, or wellness practitioners on the benefits and uses of Ayurvedic medicines.
  • Participate in community wellness programs, workshops, and seminars to promote Ayurvedic health principles.
  • Assist in promoting overall wellness, including diet, detoxification (Panchakarma), yoga, meditation, and other lifestyle modifications as part of the Ayurvedic philosophy.
  • Work with other healthcare providers to offer integrative care that includes both conventional and Ayurvedic treatments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
