Job Description

As a Pharma Package Component Development Engineer, you will lead and execute packaging development initiatives across primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems. With 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, you will utilize your expertise in component design, specification creation, SAP BOM management, and cGMP documentation to work effectively in a regulated environment. - Plan and execute packaging engineering assignments related to lifecycle management and new product development. - Develop material and structural designs for packaging systems. - Create and approve component drawings and specifications. - Collaborate with R&D on product changes. - Author packaging documentation. - Lead physical testing and validation. - Troubleshoot packaging issues. - Ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards. To excel in this role, you must possess: - Strong understanding of Package Component Development and Specification Creation. - Proficiency in cGMP documentation practices. - Experience with SAP especially in BOM creation. - Familiarity with copy, graphics, pallet pattern design, and finished goods specs. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. - Project and program management abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Effective communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - Degree in Packaging Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. - Familiarity with regulatory packaging requirements in FDA, EMA, or ICH regulated environments.
