PGT Maths Teacher

Job Purpose:

To provide strong academic instruction in Mathematics for Classes XI and XII (State Board – Tamil Nadu) and to help students achieve excellence in Board Exams through concept-based and exam-focused teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to Classes XI and XII as per the Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus.
• Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, and daily teaching plans.
• Deliver engaging lessons with a focus on Board exam patterns and question formats.
• Conduct regular assessments, revision tests, and model exams in line with school standards.
• Provide personal attention and remedial support to students who require additional help.
• Maintain records of student performance, attendance, and homework.
• Prepare students for public examinations with rigorous practice and test analysis.
• Participate in academic planning, curriculum development, and school programs.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
• Liaise with parents during PTMs and update them on student progress.

Eligibility Criteria:

• M.Sc. in Mathematics with B.Ed. (Mandatory)
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the Higher Secondary level (State Board preferred)
• Fluency in English and Tamil for classroom instruction and communication

Key Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge of State Board curriculum and exam trends
• Strong command over Board exam-focused question patterns and marking schemes
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
• Ability to guide students in solving previous years' board questions effectively
• Good planning, documentation, and time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
