To be successful in this position, you must hold a postgraduate degree in History, Geography, or a related Social Science discipline, along with a B.Ed. and a minimum of 3 years of PGT-level teaching experience in CBSE or an equivalent board. Demonstrating a strong command of historiography, world civilizations, Indian polity, physical and human geography, as well as fluency in English communication and proficiency in classroom management are necessary qualifications. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Classroom, and smart classroom hardware is also required. Preferred qualifications include certification in GIS or instructional design, experience in preparing students for competitive exams such as CUET and UPSC foundation, and participation in CBSE paper setting or evaluation.
