PGT-ENGLISH

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English to join our senior school faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to students of grades 11 and 12 (CBSE), fostering a love for literature, language, and effective communication.

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons in English Literature and Language in alignment with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE)
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and evaluations in accordance with curriculum requirements.
• Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records of students.
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive academic events (debates, essay writing, elocutions, etc.).
• Encourage critical thinking, reading, and effective writing and speaking skills.
• Support and participate in school activities such as assemblies, parent-teacher meetings, and workshops.
• Collaborate with peers and school leadership to plan and implement school-wide academic initiatives.
• Maintain discipline and promote a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Continuously engage in professional development and stay updated on modern teaching methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Postgraduate degree (MA/M.A.) in English from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching English at the senior secondary level (Grades 11–12).
• Experience with CBSE curriculum preferred.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Strong knowledge of literary works, grammar, and effective pedagogy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
