Pest Control Technician

The Pest Control Technician is responsible for carrying out pest management services at client sites in a safe, effective, and professional manner. The role includes inspection, treatment, monitoring, and preventive measures to control pests while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site inspections to identify pest activity and infestation levels
• Carry out pest control treatments for insects, rodents, and other pests as per standard operating procedures
• Prepare, handle, and apply chemicals safely in accordance with company guidelines and statutory norms
• Install and maintain monitoring devices such as rodent bait stations, traps, and insect monitors
• Maintain accurate service reports, treatment records, and client documentation
• Advise clients on preventive measures and hygiene practices to avoid re-infestation
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, PPE usage, and environmental regulations
• Respond promptly to client service calls and complaints
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company property in good condition
• Follow company policies, schedules, and reporting structures

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of pests, chemicals, and treatment methods
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures strictly
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Physically fit and willing to work at different sites
• Problem-solving and observation skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum education: 10th / 12th pass (preferred)
• Freshers may apply; salary will vary based on experience. Prior experience in pest control is preferred.

Working Conditions

• Field-based role involving travel to client locations
• Exposure to chemicals (with proper safety measures)
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
