Perl Developer

You will be responsible for converting application code from Sybase to MS SQL, with a majority of the code in Perl and some to be converted to Python. In cases where conversion is not feasible, you will ensure compatibility of the code in Perl to support the team's transition towards Python for long-term sustainability. Key Responsibilities: - Strong expertise in Perl development is mandatory - Good knowledge of Python, T-SQL / SQL Server - Familiarity with ADO/Git & release management practices - Monitoring/Alerting (nice to have) - Automation tools (nice to have) Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Perl development - Proficiency in Python and T-SQL - Experience with ADO/Git, release management practices, and automation tools - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail The company requires background verification including Education Check, Employment Check, Database Check, Criminal Check, Address Check, CIBIL/Credit Check, Reference Check, ID Check, CV Validation, Gap Check, and Drug Test for all candidates.
