Perl Developer

You will play a key role in developing backend systems, automating workflows, improving performance, and integrating Perl systems with modern platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using

  Perl

• Enhance and refactor existing Perl-based systems to improve performance and maintainability
• Develop scripts for data processing, automation, and system integration
• Integrate Perl applications with APIs, databases, and external services
• Optimize system performance and ensure security best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in existing applications
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Mentor junior developers and share Perl best practices

Technical Skill Set

• Strong expertise in

  Perl (OOP Perl, CPAN modules, scripting)

• Experience working with relational databases such as

  MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle

• Experience with

  Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting

• Familiarity with

  RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and data formats

• Experience with version control tools like

  Git/SVN

• Knowledge of performance tuning and memory optimization
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms such as

  AWS/Azure/GCP

  is an added advantage
