Job Description

As a Senior IT Technologist Performance Test Engineer at Medtronic, your role will involve ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of SAP and Non-SAP applications. You will collaborate with the development team, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks and maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain a productive relationship with Stakeholders, Process Owners, Technical and Functional Peers through effective communications and collaboration. - Attend daily stand-up meetings with development and QA teams to discuss priorities and address any blockers. - Review and update performance testing plans, ensuring readiness of test environments and data. - Coordinate with the DevOps team to ensure correct configuration of testing infrastructure and deployment of latest builds. - Create or update performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. - Execute initial tests to verify script functionality and environment stability. - Run full-scale performance tests to simulate various load conditions and monitor system performance in real-time. - Analyze performance test data, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers to diagnose root causes. - Document test results, key findings, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in performance testing. - Proven experience in performance testing of Salesforce and SAP applications. - Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Solid understanding of Salesforce and SAP architecture, performance testing concepts, and methodologies. - Experience in end-to-end performance testing and writing complex SQL queries for data validation. - Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and application performance monitoring tools. - Familiarity with SOX & GXP compliances and FDA regulatory requirements.
