Job Description

You will be responsible for designing and configuring Splunk architecture solutions for Monitoring and Analytics. This includes administration of Splunk Cloud and on-prem components such as Heavy Forwarders, Deployment Server, and Universal Forwarders. Your role will involve onboarding data into Splunk from various sources like logs, HEC, syslog, network devices, Windows events, and scripts. Your key responsibilities will include developing dashboards and reports to provide ongoing visibility into the performance of client applications. You will also be responsible for parsing and masking data before ingestion into Splunk, as well as installing, configuring, and using Splunk Apps and Add-ons. Additionally, you will configure Alerts and Reports, work on automatic lookup, data models, and create complex SPL queries. Troubleshooting skills and analytical abilities are essential for this role. Furthermore, communication skills are crucial for coordinating with different stakeholders, and you should be capable of documenting processes, requirements, and operating procedures. Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks such as Incident management, Problem Management, and Event Management is required. Desired Qualifications: - Hands-on experience in designing and configuring Splunk architecture solutions - Experience in onboarding data from various sources into Splunk - Proficiency in developing dashboards and reports for client applications - Knowledge of Alerts and Reports configuration - Troubleshooting and analytical skills - Good communication skills for stakeholder coordination - Documentation abilities for processes and operating procedures - Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks The company also values knowledge of Automation methods and APM tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and ELK, as well as an understanding of Cloud technologies and Docker.,
