Job Description

As a Performance Monitoring Engineer (Splunk), your role will involve: - Hands-on experience in designing and configuration of Splunk architecture solution for Monitoring and Analytics - Hands-on experience in administration of Splunk Cloud and on-prem components like Heavy Forwarders, Deployment Server, and Universal Forwarders - Experience in onboarding data into Splunk from various sources like logs, HEC, syslog, network devices, Windows events, scripts etc. - Capability in developing dashboards and reports that can provide ongoing visibility into the performance of client applications - Experience in parsing and masking of data prior to ingestion in Splunk - Experience in installation, configuration, and usage of Splunk Apps and Add-ons - Sound knowledge in configuration of Alerts and Reports - Good exposure in automatic lookup, data models, and creating complex SPL queries - Excellent Troubleshooting and Analytical skills - Good communication skills to coordinate with different stakeholders - Capable of documenting processes, requirements, and operating procedures Qualifications required: - Working Knowledge of ITIL frameworks (Incident management, Problem Management, Event Management etc.) - Knowledge of Automation methods (tools, scripts etc.) - Working knowledge on APM tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, ELK - Understanding of Cloud technologies, Docker In addition to the technical skills, you will be expected to have good communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and document processes for future reference.,
