People Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end local recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
  • Support global recruiting initiatives when needed
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations (incl. payroll), across the full employee lifecycle (e.g.; onboarding, performance reviews, exits).
  • Act as the local People Partner, handling employee relations and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and systems (SuccessFactors).
  • Support performance management, benefits administration, and payroll coordination with Finance.
  • Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and learning & development programs.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, turnover) to support decision-making.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven ability to source, assess, and hire top-tier Tech talent across engineering, data, and product disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of modern sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.) and Boolean search techniques
  • Ability to design and implement diverse, inclusive, and data-driven recruitment strategies
  • Experience in stakeholder management, partnering with Tech and business leaders to forecast hiring needs and define role requirements
  • Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems with an understanding of how to optimize recruitment workflows and candidate experience
  • Awareness of emerging trends in Tech hiring, such as AI-driven sourcing, skills-based assessments, and candidate experience design
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken & listening capabilities)
  • Problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with the employees
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to precision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to strict timelines
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Uses experience in HR-related roles to deliver work with minimal direct intervention
  • Masters diligence in performing administrative tasks and duties, always looking for optimization and improvement opportunities within the assigned job spectrum

Experience Requirements

  • Proven work experience in HR with at least 4 years of experience in an international firm
  • Demonstrated success in Tech recruitment or Talent Acquisition, ideally within a fast-paced or scaling environment
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or a relevant field
  • Familiarity with local Labour Law
  • Knowledge of SAP HRIS system
