About the Role:

Marven Data Systems is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to learn from experienced security professionals. In this role, you will assist in identifying vulnerabilities across networks, applications, and systems to help secure our clients’ digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting penetration tests on web applications, networks, and mobile applications toidentify vulnerabilities.
• Participate in security assessments, including vulnerability scanning and manual testing
• Document findings, outline risks clearly, and recommend corrective actions
• Stay updated on the latest security vulnerabilities, tools, and attack techniques
• Learn and work with tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit, Nmap, etc.
• Collaborate with senior security experts to develop testing strategies
• Support in writing detailed post-assessment reports
• Assist in developing automation scripts to simplify repetitive tasks
• Always follow ethical hacking guidelines and legal standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and ethical hacking
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, OS fundamentals, and web application architecture
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell (good to have)
• Knowledge of common attack vectors and security vulnerabilities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High willingness to learn, research, and grow in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
