Job Description

Job Purpose

The Pega Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BPM (Business Process Management) and workflow solutions using the Pega platform. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-quality applications that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Development

Develop and configure Pega applications including user interfaces, workflows, integrations, and data models.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
Ensure adherence to Pega development best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines.

2. System Integration

Design and implement integration solutions using APIs, web services, and connectors.
Collaborate with other development teams to ensure seamless system interoperability.

3. Testing & Deployment

Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
Support QA teams during testing and assist in defect resolution.
Participate in deployment and post-implementation support.

4. Maintenance & Support

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Implement enhancements and bug fixes as required.
Provide production support and ensure application stability.

5. Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and project managers.
Document designs, configurations, and system processes.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
