As a PCB Engineer, you will support a multi-year supplier transition initiative involving the movement and qualification of assemblies. The role will focus on validating manufacturing deliverables, reviewing engineering documentation, and supporting supplier onboarding activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth execution of the transition. The position is expected to span approximately three years, aligned with the supplier transition roadmap.

- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 3 6 years of experience in PCB engineering, hardware engineering, or supplier-facing roles.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Gerber files (as-built review and validation)
- Redlines and design change incorporation
- Engineering quotes and cost analysis
- PCB design, fabrication, and assembly processes
- Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing workflows and EMS / PCB supplier engagement.
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, fabrication notes, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to summarize technical findings for cross-functional teams.

Wondering what your Responsibilities would be
- Support supplier transition activities for PCB design, fabrication, and assembly programs.
- Coordinate with incumbent suppliers to obtain and validate as-built Gerber files, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
- Review and validate as-built PCB documentation to ensure alignment with design intent and manufacturing requirements.
- Review the first round of Engineering Quotes (EQs) from new suppliers and provide technical summaries, comparisons, and clarifications to internal stakeholders.
- Evaluate bare board fabrication, PCB manufacturing capabilities, and assembly processes at alternate suppliers.
- Identify technical gaps, risks, or deviations in supplier deliverables and communicate findings clearly.
- Support documentation, tracking, and reporting of supplier transition progress.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
