PCB & Firmware Design Engineer

This is a hands-on product development role ideal for candidates passionate about electronics, embedded systems, and educational innovation. You'll design, develop, and test PCBs and embedded firmware that power real-world STEM learning experiences across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, and optimize PCBs for innovative STEM and IoT-based projects
• Create schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using tools like KiCad or Eagle
• Program and debug microcontroller-based systems (Arduino, ESP32, etc.)
• Integrate various sensors, modules, and hardware components
• Develop firmware in Embedded C/C++ with communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI)
• Conduct hardware testing, debugging, and documentation
• Collaborate with design and content teams to translate electronics into educational kits
• Contribute to innovation sessions for new product features and ideas

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in PCB design tools: KiCad, Eagle, or similar
• Solid understanding of microcontrollers: Arduino, ESP32, etc.
• Experience in embedded C/C++ programming
• Familiarity with I2C, UART, SPI, and other hardware communication protocols
• Knowledge of circuit design, sensor integration, and hardware testing
• Good debugging skills and analytical thinking
• A passion for STEM education, innovation, and DIY electronics

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, ECE, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields
• 0–1 year of relevant experience (Freshers with strong project work are encouraged to apply)
• Must be available to work full-time from the Mohali office
• Prior internships or personal projects in PCB/Firmware development are a strong advantage
