Job Description

Whitefield Area, Bengaluru


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PCB CAD libraries including schematic symbols, footprints, and parametric data
  • Generate footprints for SMD, THT, connectors, and complex IC packages as per IPC-7351 standards
  • Validate BOMs, electrical attributes, package information, and component descriptions.
  • Process new part requests using PLM systems and maintain library updates.
  • Cross-check datasheets, schematics, and footprints to ensure accuracy in pin sequencing and package details.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation, follow standard naming conventions, and ensure smooth library integration with ECAD/MCAD tools

  • RoHS and REACH compliance understanding

Library Management

  • Creation and maintenance of schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D models.
  • BOM validation and part numbering systems.
  • Use of footprint calculators like LP Wizard and Footprint Expert
